Labour Party angling summit
On 2 February 2005 various angling groups attended the Labour Party's Angling summit in London to discuss the Labour Party's new 'Angling Charter'. The meeting was chaired by Martin Salter MP, Labour Party Angling spokesperson. John Leballeur, Chairman of BASS was invited to the meeting to give a presentation of the Bass Management Plan. This was well received by those present and resulted in a invitation from Ben Bradshaw, MP, Minister for Nature Conservation & Fisheries to the BASS Restoration Project Team to discuss the BMP with him on 5 April 2005 in London.
